It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Amelia Pearson McNeilly (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee Pearson and Effie Brent Huffman Pearson; her husband William Doyle McNeilly; and her siblings, Clyde, Doyle, Grant Pearson, Louise Towery, Earline Whisnant and Faye Lyle.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Lee Rogers, Reggie McNeilly Frady and Eva Renee McNeilly. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
