It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathleen Baker of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Roy Clay and Beadie Irene Stephens Clay; her son Glen Richard "Dickie" Baker, Jr.; and her children-in-law, David Childres and Mikki Thomas Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Glen R. Baker; her children, Glenda Baker Childres and Jeff Baker; her daughter-in-law Melba Willis Baker; and her sisters, Merle Buff and Patsy Hennessee. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the El Bethel Haiti Medical Mission.
