He was predeceased by: his parent Shub Logan Huffman; his wife Barbara Ann Dyson Huffman; and his siblings, Alice Hayes, Dorothy Haynes, Elsie Huffman, Clyde Huffman, Glen Huffman and Cecil Huffman.
He is survived by: his parent Hester Mae Butler Huffman; his children, Bruce Huffman (Laura) of Morganton, Tammy Fowler (Klaus) of Morganton, Joel Huffman (Brandy) of Lenoir and Kristin Huffman of Hickory; and his sister Pauline Roper. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
