He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Gunter and Pansy Norton Gunter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Cutshall Gunter; his daughter Tammie Evans (Marvin) of Morganton; his grandchildren, Tabitha Arrowood, Martha Evans and Morgan Evans; his great grandchildren, Blaze and Alana Kincaid; and his siblings, Linda G. Morrison (Don) of Madison, Rev. Jerry Gunter (Nancy) of Greeneville, TN, Gary Gunter (Adele) of Marshall and Connie G. Chandler of Weaverville.
