She is survived by: her parent Vera Mae Coffey Powell; her children, Brenda Campbell (Jerry) of Drexel, Gail Tillman (Johnny) of Lawndale, NC, Sherry Killough (Charlie) of Lawndale, Jay Howard Suttles of Salem and James Suttles of Morganton; her sisters, Susan McCoy, Dorothy Powell and Myrtle Taylor; and her former husband Darrel O. Suttles. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
