She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse B. Duckworth and Zula Queen Duckworth; her siblings, Clara D. Clontz, Charles Duckworth of Morganton and J. B. Duckworth of Morganton; her husband John O. Adams; and her son Ken Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Steffi Adams of Morganton, Tim Adams (Wanda) of Irmo, S. C. and Rahn Adams (Timberley) of Boone; her granddaughter Cary Ann Adams Vincent (Stephen) of Hangzhou; her great grandchildren, Brooke Vincent of Hangzhou and Thor Vincent of Hangzhou; and also Stephanie Long. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church, Morganton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, 1112 Hopewell Road, Morganton or to the Morganton Public Library, 204 S. King Street, Morganton.
