She was predeceased by: her parents, Causie Turner and Mamie Walker Turner; her husband Carl Thomas Garrison, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Sarah Garrison. She is survived by: her children, Randal Garrison of Morganton and Janet Garrison of Morganton; and her sister Betty Ann Summers of Silver Springs, MD.. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
