It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy G. Thompson (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Paul Glass and Eugenia Mae Johnson Glass; her husband Benjamin F. Connelly, Sr.; and her daughter Crystal C. Berry. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Allen Connelly and Valerie Ann Johnson (Bobby); her grandchildren, Alexia Marie Connelly, Jordun Antoinette Lawrence, Taylor Ann Connelly Rodriguez (Steven), Ricky Connelly Jr. and Jordy Connelly; her great grandchildren, Allen Lamar, Janyia, A'myiah, Ma'ryiah Connelly and Rylie Ann Rodriguez; and her brothers, Paul Joseph Glass (Jean), Leroy Glass and John Henry Glass (Savannah). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
