With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Anthony Baker of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chasteen Baker and Alton Berry Baker; his brother Barron; and his stepson Daniel Hildebrand. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Houser Baker; his stepson Darrell Hildebrand, Jr. (Christine); and his pets, Ginger and Sassy. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.
