He is survived by: his wife Fannie Avery Ervin; his daughters, Larkina Ervin-Lynch (Johnny) and Tuliza Stacy Ervin (Timothy); his grandchildren, Baron J, Jaron V. Kanipe, Keion M. Ervin and Tyriq D. Ervin; his great grandchild Knoxx A. Kanipe; his siblings, Lawrence Ervin, John Ervin, Bruce Ervin, Waddell Ervin (Carol) and Marjorie Ervin; and his sister-in-law Yolanda Ervin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
