He was predeceased by: his parents, James Belton and Glady Belton; and his siblings, Don, Harry, Michael, Dean, Hurley Belton, Carolyn Belton and Barbara Belton Whisnant.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Belton Collins (Terry), Amber Belton and Danette Powell Saine; his stepchildren, Anita Johnson (Bob) and Marshall Smith, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ryan Collins (Brooke), Abbey Collins McGee (Robbie), Casey Mellon, Brayeleigh Belton and Aylizabeth Belton; his great grandchildren, Rylan Collins, Piper Collins, Storm Johnson and Rain Mellon; and his siblings, Johnny Belton, Bobby Belton, Raymond Belton, Mark Belton and Arlene Belton Webb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower, memorial contribution can be made to Burke Hospice and Carolina Caring.
