He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jones Benfield and Mary Louise Mayfield Benfield; and his brothers, Richard "Buddy" Benfield and Larry Benfield. He is survived by: his granddaughter Bella; his wife Wendy Lynn Walker Benfield; his stepchildren, Macayla, Dakota and Kaitlyn Brady; his stepgranddaughter Isabella "Bella" Peeler; his brothers, Lenoir Edward "Babe" Benfield, Sr. (Mary Sue) and James "Lard" Benfield (Kerri); his half-brothers, Tracy and Justin Benfield; his stepsiblings, Rick Moffitt and Mitzi Moffit; and his stepmother Nora Benfield.
