He is survived by: his wife Janet Benfield Wessinger; his children, April Wilson (Ashley), Scott Wessinger (Sara), Phillip Wessinger and Bobby Wessinger (Kaity); his stepson Cody Johnson; his siblings, Jimmy Wessinger and Candice Wessinger; his grandchildren, Lauryn, Wyatt (Gavin Wilsion), Kaitlyn (Aiden Wessinger), Donovan Bennett, Daphne (James Wessinger) and Kali Goodwin; and his niece Summer Grace.
