She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father William Ford; her husband Dennis L. Carpenter; her son Jeremy Carpenter (Leslie); her grandchildren, Tanner and Abigail Carpenter; her mother Betty Miller Ford; and her siblings, Danny Ford (Cynthia), Audrey Ford, Ramona Beach (Darrin) and Myra Sanders (Tony). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
