With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Wayne Scoggin Sr. (Morganton, North Carolina), born in Union Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca G. Scoggin of Morganton, NC; his children, Rebecca "Terrie" Clark (Steven) of West Jefferson, NC and Ronald W. Scoggin, Jr. of Hickory, NC; his grandsons, Samuel Clark (Kate) of Bentonville, AR and Houston Clark (Talara) of West Jefferson, NC; and his great grandchild Lakelyn Perry Clark of West Jefferson. He is also survived by his mother (Zeruah), father (Gordon) and his seven siblings.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care or to Grace Heights Nursing Home.
