It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Elizabeth Clark Pons (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clark and Ida Clark; her husband Rev. Eugene Pons; and her son Mark Pons. She is survived by: her children, Todd E. Pons (Lisa), Thomas E. Pons (Teresa), John A. Pons, Sr., Hope E. Lail (Scott) and Debra F. Byrd (Charles); and her brother Edward Clark. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She loved her church, Way of the Cross Baptist Church, and greatly missed it during this pandemic.
