It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Hagberg (Morganton, North Carolina), born in Trenton, New Jersey, who passed away on September 14, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Ruth Walsh and Michael Walsh; and her children, Ruth Norman of Drexel, NC, Daniel Sincoskie, Ann Sincoskie of Lake City, FL, Theresa Hipshire of Holt, MI, Roberta Miller, Larry Miller of Fall Brook, CA, Bradley Hagberg, Patricia Hagberg of Fenton, MO, Eric Hagberg, Connie Hagberg of Wartrace, TN, Matthew Hagberg, Natalie Hagberg of Joliet, IL, Tina Gilbertson and Matt Gilbertson of Honolulu, HI.. She is also survived by three children, five stepchildren, their spouses.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, P.O. Box 105, Glenolden, PA 19036, to help find a treatment or a cure for the hereditary disorder (CMT1) that dominated her lifetime.
