It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Hugh McCracken Jr. (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 10, 2019, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sherry Whittington McCracken; his son Nick McCracken (Katie) of Morganton; and his sisters, Sandra Noles (Buddy) of Valdese and Susan McCracken of Morganton. He was also cherished by two nephews, one great niece.
