He is survived by: his mother Helen Abernathy; his daughters, Charity Abernathy (Landon Reece) and Brittany Abernathy (Kyle McCormick); his grandchildren, Ellie, Rylan and Ryker; and his brothers, Carl (Dede), Mike (Mary) and James Abernathy (Doris).
