It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Max Ray of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey Ray, Sr. and Annie May Hensley Ray. He is survived by: his wife Betty Henline Ray; and his children, Clinton Ray (Pamela), Freida Ray Clark, Thomas D. Ray, Anthony Ray and Leesa Ray McConnell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
