Virginia Elizabeth Whisnant Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Elizabeth Whisnant of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Huffman and Lizzie Ledbetter Huffman; her husband Shirley "Kip" Whisnant; her son Daniel "Bo" Whisnant; and her siblings, Bob, Gene Huffman and Nannie Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Faye Acker (Terry) and Ronnie Whisnant (Rita); her grandchildren, Renee Hinceman (Banks), Leslie Ratliff (Chris), Caroline Reel (Jon) and Kelley Saussy (Sam); her great grandchildren, Casey Hinceman, Charlie Hinceman, Trevor Ratliff (Madison), Bryson Ratliff, Grayson Ratliff, Katelyn Reel, Lauryn Reel and Emma Saussy; and her sister Mary Lou Banner (L. E.). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
