It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Lackey Whisenant (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 19, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lackey and Zetta Lackey; her husband Robey Edward Whisenant; and her siblings, Jack, James, Larry Lackey, Linda Whisnant and Sylvia Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Steve E. Whisenant (Renee), Teri L. Longo (Bobby), Donna Whisenant and Lisa Moorefield (Jeff); her grandchildren, Lauren Imboden (Matt), Tyler Whisenant (Kelli), Evan Longo (Clara), Jessica Branch (Josh), Ryan Moorefield and Karly Moorefield; and her brothers, Tony, Ted and Danny Lackey. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
