He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel McDowell Wall and Jessie Whisenant Wall; his wife Barbara Constance Bounous Wall; his son John David Wall; his granddaughter Sarah Kathleen Cobb; and his siblings, Harry Wall, Bill Wall and Margaret Gaule.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Wall Cobb (Gary), Leslie Wall Earley (Bob) and James Douglas Wall (Ria); his grandchildren, Jennifer Cobb, Tyler Cobb, Daniel Earley and Anna Earley; and his niece Barbara.
