He was predeceased by: his parents, Melwood P. Raines and Virginia Mae Kerney Raines; and his brother Bud Raines. He is survived by: his wife Rose Raines; his sons, Danny Raines (Jessica) and Mark Raines; his grandchildren, Hannah and Justin Raines; and his sister Virginia Wester.
