He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl Padrick Branch; and his sister Peggy Branch. He is survived by: his children, Gloria Branch Davis (Clifford) of Drexel and Bryan Branch (Lisa) of Hickory; his sister Carol Ann Carswell of Morganton; his grandchildren, Courtney Davis Jacumin and Brooke Davis Dodd; his stepgranddaughters, Emily Griffin and Beth Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Mason Dodd, Wyatt Dodd and Journey Dodd.
