He was predeceased by: his parent Forest H. Berry, Sr.; and his sister Betty Berry Mast. He is survived by: his parent Julia Yates Berry of Connelly Springs; his wife Kathy R. Berry; his son Scott Carico; his daughter-in-law Heidi Morgan Carico of Morganton; and his brother Forest H. Berry, Jr. of Valdese. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
