She was predeceased by: her parents, Fermon Jenkins and Mary Jenkins of Morrisville, NC.; her children, Jimmy Upchurch, Joey Upchurch and Lisa Upchurch; and her sisters, Thelma Moore and Margie Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Upchurch (Patty) and Lori Ann Upchurch Hewitt; and her grandchildren, James Upchurch, Sebastian Hewitt and Haylen Hewitt. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sorrell Grove Baptist Church (210 Sorrell Grove Church Rd, Morrisville, NC 27560).
