With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Venkata Ratnam Sanka of Morrisville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Subba Rao and Veeranjaneyamma Alapati. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Hanumantha Rao Sanka; her children, Venugopal (Jyothi), Poornachandra Rao (Kalyani Mahalakshmi) and Lakshmi Kalyani (Kamesh); her grandchildren, Gautam (Divya) and Dr. Pranavi (Aakash); her great grandchild Anjali, Sr.; her grandchildren, Sadhana, Rohitha and Sathvik; and her siblings, Sesharatnam, Venkateswara Rao and Seshagiri. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
