He was predeceased by : his parent Ralph Burfoot Meiggs; and his nephew Matthew Allen Meiggs. He is survived by : his parent Joyce Riggs Meiggs of Moyock; his brother Thomas Ralph Meiggs of Moyock; his nephew Shawn Thomas Meiggs; and his niece Cassidy Lynette Meiggs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Fellowship Baptist Church, 871 Tulls Creek Road, Moyock, NC 27958.
