He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nichols Cole, Jr. and Edith Wolfe Cole; and his grandson Jordan Scot Hopkins. He is survived by: his close friend Gloria Dawn Geringer; his children, Dawn Renee Cole of Maryland, Kristine Denise Holocker of Maryland and Timothy Thomas Cole of Oregon; and his sister Lorraine Purdum of Maryland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
