He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Bernice Lea Brady Temple; his wife Alice McCrary Temple; and his siblings, Sharon Temple Shoaf and Allen Willard Temple.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Lea Temple of Murphy and Edward Ray "Eddie" Temple of Murphy; his grandchildren, Isaiah Lee Temple and Harper Madeline Temple; and his siblings, Linda Temple Copley (Joe) of Lexington and Steven Brady Temple (Carolyn) of Lexington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials can be made to Murphy Food Pantry, 73 Valley River Avenue, Murphy, NC 28906.
