He is survived by: his children, Charles Clinton Raper, Betty Jean Raper Jones, Jeannie Raper Romesberg and April Raper Land; his siblings, Maggie Stiles, Louise Davenport, Irene Mathis, Reba Davis, Mary Long, Marie Nations, Truman Raper and Henry Raper; and his grandchildren, Cory Raper, Tiffany Raper, Clinton Romesberg, Isaac Romesberg, Kristian Romesberg, Sierra Jones, Eli Jones, Madelyn Land and C. J. Land. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
