He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rife and Elizabeth Day Rife; his son David Joseph Rife; and his siblings, Earnest Rife, Joe Rife, Jr. and Bernice Rife Ledbetter.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Rogers Rife; his children, Vickey Rife Pritchett (Tony), Karen Rife, Janet Rife, Anthony Queen (Christie) and Jennie Cook (Roy Jr.); his siblings, Tony Rife (Dora), McGinnis Rife, Miles Rife (Kathy), Lonnie Rife (Shirley), Ellie Cooper, Anita Rife, Doris Ruscio (Al) and Dinah Rife; his grandchildren, Ashley Martinez, Johnny Lane, Michael Rife, Dana Edmonson, Austin Springs, Raven Rife-McGill, Stephen Richardson, Rylee Cook, Kitana Queen, Anna Queen, Aaron Queen and AJ Queen; and also Beulah Mae Rife. He is also survived by seven great-granddaughters who are survived by their grandmother.
