He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Lela Stewart Luckey; his grandson Justin Savacool; his brother Glyn Luckey; and his father-in-law Sherman Swan.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Swan Luckey; his children, Elizabeth "Libby" Luckey Fraund (Phillip) of Charleston, Sheryl "Sheri" Lucky Bjorn (Simon) of Murphy, NC, James Tifton Luckey (Ginger) of Tequesta, FL and Nikole "Niki" Luckey Brothen (Brad) of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Sean Savacool (Jill) of Nasheville, TN, James Tifton Luckey, Jr. (Melissa) of Stewart, FL, Tiffani Luckey of Jupiter, FL, Ernie and Daphne Brothen of Minnesota; and his great grandchild Landon James Luckey.
