He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Harrison and Alice Ellery Huffman DeHart; and his sisters, Bennie Lee Hutchinson and Ellen Hines. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Morgan DeHart; and his sons, Gene "Eddie" DeHart Jr. (Crystal) of Salisbury, Philip DeHart (Geneve) of The Philippines and Michael DeHart (Jennifer) of Seminole, Florida. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
