He is survived by: his children, Patricia Melton (Tommy), Steve Graves (Jan) and Phoebe Dye (Anthony); his grandchildren, Amanda William, Steven Graves (Kelli), Stephanie Simonds, Shanna Fisher, Jesse Graves, Shawnta Shook, Daniel Dye and Nathan Dye; and his close friend Mary Freeman. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
