With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gypsy Graves (Murphy, North Carolina), who passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son George Keene Graves IV; and her brothers, Stanley Cosden and Edward Decker. She is survived by: her daughters, Kate Thilo (Jeff) of Murphy, Mary Goodman of Annapolis, Maryland and Louise Church (Jeff) of Beverly Hills, Florida; her sister Marjorie "Betje" Carlson (Bruce) of Aspen, Colorado; her grandchildren, Sara Yinger, Katherine Perez and Hayden Gaskill; and her great grandchild Mallory Perez.
Gypsy was named a 1996 Woman of the Year by the American Cancer Society and was named "Queen for the Day" of the Conch Republic.
