Helen Millsaps Dickey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2021, at the age of 93, Helen Millsaps Dickey of Murphy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloia Millsaps and Earl Millsaps; her husband Edward Brittain Dickey; her siblings, Maynard, Wayne, Boyd Millsaps, Roberta McHan and Fannie Anderson; and her sister-in-law Blanche Millsaps.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Dickey of Murphy and Frank Dickey (Cynthia) of Murphy; her sister-in-law Sue Hubbard; her great great grandchild Chloe; and her niece Helen. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren.
Helen survived Typhoid Fever as a child and Covid this past summer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in honor of Helen Martha Millsaps Dickey to Tomotla Community Cemetery Fund, C/O Alene Keener, 397 Hayes Road, Marble, NC 28905 or to Shepherd of the Mountains Church, 68 Fairfax Drive, Murphy, NC 28906.
