Jean Preddy Hakel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2020, at the age of 68, Jean Preddy Hakel (Murphy, North Carolina), born in Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Andrew Preddy Sr. and Martha Lifsey Preddy; her former husband Richard E. Hakel; her brother Fred Andrew Preddy Jr.; and her sister-in-law Nancy Inmon Preddy.
She is survived by: her fiancé Keith Celebrezze of Murphy; her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Preddy of Chapel Hill and Robert Michael Preddy (Kathryn McDonald Preddy) of Harlingen, Texas; her nieces, Robin Preddy Dawson, Elizabeth Preddy Hilliard and Tiffany Preddy Albury; her stepdaughter Heather Ann Hakel; and her stepgranddaughter Abigail Hakel Garcia. She is also survived by seven great-nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
