She was predeceased by: her parents, Bowen Mumford and Mary Elliot; her husband Samuel Stevenson; and her daughter Kim Elizabeth Stevenson. She is survived by: her son Glenn Stevenson of Murphy, NC.. She is also survived by many other family members & friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bellview United Methodist Church (247 Moccasin Creek Road Murphy, NC 28906) in Julia's memory.
