He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty Teems Chance, Barbara Teems Brumbly, Robert Teems, Allen Teems, Harry Lee Teems and Tommy Teems.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gail Henson Teems; his children, Melissa Teems Nelson (Jason) of Warne and Corey Teems (Amanda Michael) of Hayesville; his brother Donald Teems; his grandchildren, Dillon Nelson (Kayla) of Murphy and Sarah Nelson of Warne Community; his stepgranddaughter Issabella Mercer; and his great grandchildren, Bryleigh Nelson and Isabella Nelson. He is also survived by Several Nieces, and Nephews.
