It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maggie Davis (Murphy, North Carolina), born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus "Whitcom" and Eva Dockery (Crowder); her husband Loren Dale Davis; her grandson Jamie Calvin Davis; her grandson-in-law Donald Palmer; and her siblings, Arie, Verlon, Oscar, Glen, Ralph, Ervin Dockery, Vennah Sneed, Lexie Floyd, Nola Cook, Alma Pack, Claudia Stowe and Minnie Hensley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jonnie Davis (Tobe), Opal Radford (Ab) and Debbie McDonald (Steve); and her grandchildren, Dedra Davis, Sandy Ledford, Brian Davis, Tracy Palmer, Tim Radford, Adam Radford and Robin Anderson.
