She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dickey and Hazel Queen Dickey. She is survived by: her husband Alexander W. Starks; her son Michael A. Starks (Melody) of Murphy; and her grandsons, Samuel Starks (Sydney French) of Knoxville and Gabriel Starks of Asheville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
