He is survived by: his parents, Winfred Payne and Freda Payne of Murphy, NC.; his wife Holly Payne; his children, Presley Payne of Murphy, Luca Payne of Murphy, Hannah Guthrie of Murphy and Emily Payne of Georgia; his sisters, Sharon Oliver (Kenneth) of Hayesville, NC and Sondra Graham (Brandon) of Murphy; and his granddaughter Emma Rose Guthrie.
