Ballard of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Dade City, Florida, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ballard and Nina Webb Ballard; and his siblings, Nina Mae Ballard and Arthur Wayne Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Boswell Ballard; his children, Tina Marie Polk of Murphy and Ray Lamar Ballard, Jr. of Murphy; his brother Jerry Lavone Ballard of Dover, Florida; his grandchildren, Jack Polk of Robert Polk, III, Ashlee Therrel (Tommy), Shawna Ballard and Noel "Trey" Martin III; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Polk, Aletrus Margandona, Raylee Polk, Baylee Ballard, Elijah Therrel, Annsleigh Martin and Avery Therrel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requested that those who attended would wear a mask.
