It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Ann Carroll of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dellinger and Blanche Hicks Dellinger; her husband Bobby Carroll, Sr.; and her daughter Donna C. Conlon. She is survived by: her children, Bobby W. Carroll, Jr. (Debra) of Franklin, NC, Michael D. Carroll (Julie) of Newton, NC and Diana C. Garrett; and also Patrick Garrett of Murphy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
