With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shane Rex Wilkes of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eddie Wilkes of Zephyr Hills and Elva Barnes; his wife Aimee Warman Wilkes of Murphy; his daughters, Ariah Avery of Asheville and Trinity Wilkes Hollenbec (Raymond) of Murphy; his siblings, Shannon Wilkes Albano of Zephyr Hills, Devoni Newberry (Jorrick) and Troy Lee Wigley (Melissa) of Dade City, Florida; his stepmother Karen Esler of Brasstown; his parents-in-law, Vanessa Strong of Naples, Florida and Dennis Warman (Anita) of Murphy; and his sister-in-law Jodi Esry of Seattle, Washington.
