He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey Barton and Myrtle Louise Cornwell Coleman; and his son Jacob Cody Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Blanche McBrayer Cook Coleman; his children, Beth Coleman McDonald (Jonathan) of Murphy and Stephen Matthew Coleman of Asheville; his siblings, Anna Shuler (Marvin) of Murphy, Kay Amos of Murphy, Joyce Hogsed (Maynard) of Murphy and Harold Coleman (Jean); and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Graves (Westley), Bailey Brown, Jacob, Elynor McDonald, Kristen, Preston Cornett, Madison Worley, Jaylan and Jonah Hamby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
