He is survived by: his wife Mozelle Presswood Montgomery; his children, Brent Montgomery (Patti), Kent Montgomery (Glenda), Marti Bryson (David) and Gary Deal (Anita); his siblings, Betty Payne, Janet Moorhead, Jackie "Noodles" Montgomery (Charlene) and Johnny Montgomery (Kay); his grandchildren, Melanie Chapman, Dusty Montgomery, Amber Mitchell (Chan), Ashlee Pickelsimer (Alan), Lindsey Bullock (Brett), Shane Montgomery, Eric Deal, Drew Deal and Gracie Deal; his great grandchildren, Hunter Bryson, Emma Mitchell, Maleia Bigham, Cade Bigham, Bryson Mitchell, Cayson Mitchell, Kristen Pickelsimer, Sinclaire Bullock, Sawyer Bullock, Silas Bullock, Brandon Chapman and Weston Chapman; and his great great grandchildren, Darcy Chapman, Joseph Chapman, Marlee Chapman and Mason Chapman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
