She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Dockery and Cleo Anderson Dockery; her husband Harold Kernea; and her siblings, Jack Dockey, Frank Dockery and Bertha Loudermilk.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Kernea of Murphy, Larry Kernea (Jill) of Murphy, Eddie Kernea of Murphy, Tim Kernea (Debbie) of Morganton, GA and Brenda Anderson of Murphy; and her siblings, Howard Dockery of Dalton, GA, Jerry Dockery of Murphy and Pauline Beavers of Murphy. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
